Dear Karen,
We are only too glad to be writing this letter to you,
following the delivery of our wedding album. When we
discussed what we wanted from a photographer from our
wedding, we had about three or four main points in mind.
1. Non-intrusive style
2. Easygoing yet able to control the day
3. Flexibility to de-stress the photo shoot as much as
possible
4. Someone who can get the best from a bride who doesn’t
like photographs.
We are both happy to say that your straightforward
approach to the arrangements before, during and after the
day and night itself made it a pleasure to work with you.
We thought meeting up beforehand with you at the venue was
a great idea and it allowed us to get a very clear
understanding of what you would expect on the day and how
we could help each other achieve that. In addition, your
helpful suggestions on how we should stand and tips on
posing were extremely useful to the camera shy bride to
be…
Our biggest worry was that our photographer would be bossy
and overbearing and stress us out during the day. What we
got with you and your able assistant was an enjoyable time
just before all of the wedding ceremony formalities to
ease us into our day. Throughout the whole day it was easy
to meet your requests, knowing that we had already agreed
what we wanted from the photographs and informed you of
the difficult guests etc. well in advance. Your control of
the day was purposeful but not intrusive and it meant that
our guests were only too happy to be photographed.
The results are stunning! We love our album and we are so
glad that we spent a good deal of time going through the
pictures with you to enable us to understand what would be
best in colour or black and white. In addition, our choice
to give you the freedom to present our photographs in a
simple uncluttered style in our album has paid dividends.
We are grateful that you spent time getting to know us,
learning what we would like and listening to us.
Obviously, this style is well suited to your lively and
outgoing character and we are glad that we had the chance
to get to know you and trust you with our wedding.
In addition, we love the study you did in three frames of
Megan and Alexander, these little things make all the
difference and we appreciate your efforts. Many of our
friends had re-kindled their memories of the evening
celebration with your reportage style pictures of our
excellent entertainer. It is a tribute to you that so many
of those shots evoke the memories so vividly and take us
back to our special day.
It just remains for us to say a great big thank you for
your obvious talent; your attention to detail and your
easygoing nature which made us relax and get the best for
our photographs. It goes without saying that we would
recommend you to anyone who wanted to guarantee the
success of their wedding pictures or in fact any occasion,
which warrants the priceless memory, your photographs
represent.
